Aquariana with pisces rising the way I am, I tend to live in orbit. When I hear the friction of the pen on the paper or see the lack of control in the mixture of colors of a watercolor stain, given by the water, I jump, since the walk becomes light.Speaking of water, I remembered the sea. And these salty seas, now stormy, once calm, are what move me. I say move not only in the sense of moving the body from one place to another, but expanding the senses to find birds inside shells and snails in the air.
Professional with more than 10 years of experience in the cultural field. She is a visual artist, illustrator, and art educator. Adventurous in the field of digital design / marketing, video editing and music. Ruana Negri is graduated in the Belas Artes de Sao Paulo, in wich she received a scholarship in the Program of Scientific Initiation, with the research "Pictorial Oscillation: The Changes of the Painting and the Symbology of the Shell". Presented at the 11th Conic - SEMESP (2010-2011). Participated in the group of lithographic studies and use of the free studio at the Museu Lasar Segall. Since 2011, she participated in several exhibitions in Brazil, Argentina and Canada, such as: Mac Jataí (Goiás), Visual Arts Hall of Guarulhos, Santo André Ribeirão Preto and Ubatuba, Museum of Sexual Diversity, Museum Gregorio Álvarez (Argentina), Atelier Prese Papier (Québec) , Instituto Ecoa (Ceará), Galeria 13, among others. Participated in the project of Artistic Residence by the Experimental Collective of Ilha Comprida; Has work in public collection. Since 2010, she investigates the appropriation, displacement and resignification of elements of nature and everyday objects; Problematizes Science and the Imaginary; She mainly uses the language of drawing, photography and reproduction processes; Hers multi-artistic poetics consists of dreamlike beings, schemes, collections and collections, records, memories and affections. Variations that unite in a kind of Cabinet of Curiosities. Developed various illustration projects / Participated in graphic fairs such as Miolo(s) virtual, Feira Matuta and Folhetaria de arteprint. He studied Editorial Design at SENAC, took a postgraduate course in Digital Marketing and developed several works and projects in different segments. In music, she works with percussion instruments, for more than five years she has participated in the Latin American group "Cumbia Calavera", where she was collectively contemplated by several artistic public notices, she also developed graphic materials and the print of the skull costume, had a small trajectory in the fanfares Unidos do Swing and Clandestine. In art education, he developed many works for different types of people and in several Cultural Institutions such as the SESC, Bienal, Itaú Cultural, FILE, Oca, Lina Bo and P.M. Bardi Institut, MIS Experience and MAB FAAP.
