CUMBIA CALAVERA BAND
Latin American group that proposes an instrumental reinterpretation of classic cumbias and also presents its own compositions, spreading melodies and rhythmic elements of cumbia chicha, Colombian cumbia and Andean folk music. Formed by members from different countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, France, Togo and Uruguay, the group presents itself in a performative way and its costumes are inspired by the iconography of the Fiesta de los Muertos, a Mexican cultural festival.

Composed by: Felipe Mancini (guitar and coimbra guitar), Demétrius Carvalho (acoustic bass and seven-string guitar), Domingo Duclos (flute, clarinet and banjo) and Ivan Silva (tambourines and kalimba). The quartet explores the sounds of the East East, Latin America, India, Iberian Peninsula, Africa and Brazil in an instrumental show of different wind instruments, strings and percussion.
